The Bridgford Desk was the dream of founder and director Guy Collins. Passionate about combining elegance and timeless design with modern technology, Guy used his many years of experience in British engineering and design to create a desk that is distinguished and iconic, yet incorporates technology that is required for the 21st century stylish office environment.

2021
2021 is the year of The Bridgford Desk.
The Bridgford Desk Furniture e-commerce website launches and begins accepting global orders.
2019
Our Signature standing desk in Ebony Macassar is unveiled.
After a rigorous process of design and testing, we launched our premium standing desks in 2019. The desks uniquely incorporate modern technology and the outstanding qualities of classic craftsmanship.
2018
Combining beautiful craftsmanship with modern technology.
2018 was the year of refining The Bridgford Desk design and of bespoke one-off manufacture for discerning clients, eager to get an early experience of the blend of style and technology.
2017
Drawing up our designs.
From multiple designs and development prototypes The Bridgford Desk design takes shape. The elegant style is crafted and the technology thoroughly tested.
2016
Researching the market.
Through extensive research of existing products and the benefits of standing desks, we began to understand how desirable The Bridgford Desk could be. There was a clear requirement amongst discerning clients for a classically styled desk incorporating modern technology.
2015
Where It All Began.
2015 was the year our founder decided to purchase a standing desk to aid in reducing his back pain. The search to find the perfect desk proved futile, and he was unable to find something that combined his needs of both attractiveness and practicality. He consequently decided to build a desk himself that would inwcorporate a sit-stand function but without compromising on design. It is from this point on that Bridgford Furniture was established.

How We Work
From Sketch to Desk
Every one of our ideas is hand-sketched to enable us to translate our ideas onto paper with precision and accuracy. We analyse our designs with painstaking detail before progressing to the building process. We select only the best natural materials, the finest technology and the most experienced craftsmen to create our finished desks; we won't accept anything less than perfection.
