Wooden furniture is best maintained at temperatures between 20ºC and 25ºC, with a relative humidity between 40% and 50%. This may require the use of humidifiers, dehumidifiers and/or heating or air conditioning depending on the season. If this is impractical, it is possible to use a shield or guard to direct the airflow away from the desk. Your desk will best handle environmental changes that happen gradually. Abrupt changes in climate will increase the risk of potential damage to the desk.
Wood is an organic material which will naturally vary in colour and design. This means that each Bridgford desk will have unique characteristics that may differ from the models displayed on our website or at our exhibitions/presentations/ pictures and videos. The leather interior of each desk has been individually tanned and so will also have distinctive characteristics. With use, you may notice minor colour changes and creases in the leather, which is a natural feature of the material. Should you wish to clean or dust your desk, use a micro-fibre cloth so as to maintain optimal quality. If any spillages occur then simply wipe the desk clean with a damp cloth.
